Marleybones was born out of a personal frustration I (Josephine, co-founder of Marleybones 👀👋) had with my furry best friend, Marley, a golden cocker spaniel.

Marley was both picky and had trouble with indigestion, which meant I was constantly switching dog food—more often than Leonardo DiCaprio changes girlfriends! On top of that, I couldn’t find any decent options that didn’t take up precious ice cream space in my freezer!

In my search for food that was better for Marley’s health, tastier for his palate, and more eco-friendly, the idea of Marleybones was born.

Fast forward a couple of years, and now Mikala (fellow co-founder and non-furry best friend), myself, and the rest of the Marleybones team are helping thousands of dogs live happier and healthier lives!

We’ve also made mealtime easier for pet parents, with delicious, nutritious food that’s as easy to serve as it is for dogs to enjoy.

We’re a team of health- and eco-conscious dog lovers on a mission to promote healthy living for dogs, foster connections between people, and inspire paw-sitive environmental change—all with plenty of joy and love along the way ❤
